Today we ’re visiting Shelly Zylstra , who has created an incredible garden at her townhome in Tinley Park , Illinois .
If you ’ve ever thought you ’d care to have an amazing garden but do n’t think youhave the spacefor it , this GPOD is for you ! Shelly has transformed the deck and surrounding domain at her townhome into a stunning and dramatic garden . Any spot where you could put a fewcontainerscan become a beautiful garden .
Shelly tell that this is her fourth twelvemonth putting together plantings outside her townhome , and she considers herself a flower nut .

marvellous orange cannas ( Cannahybrid , Zones 7–9 or as tender bulbs ) and dark - leaved ‘ Vertigo ’ fountain Gunter Grass ( Pennisetumpurpureum‘Vertigo ’ , Zones 8–11 or as yearly ) bring height to the planting . Verbena‘Whiteout ’ ( yearly ) andPetunia‘Vista Snowdrift ’ ( one-year ) render masses of blanched peak . A darkcoleus(annual ) institute stage of drab people of color , and parrot beak ( Lotusbertholotii , annual ) allow for fernlike leaf . drop behind down from the container are full-grown swags of silver falls dichondra ( Dichondraargentea‘Silver tumble ’ , Zones 8–10 or as annual ) .
