I have to say , I think we have found the ultimate self - sufficient tiny home !

For old age , we have been writing about the astonishing benefits of downsizing . How living smaller is dwell better . And how becoming more ego - sufficient earmark you the exemption to savor life .

As awing as it sounds , it really does work !
One of the good things we ever did was sell our traditional suburban home plate and build our Simple House at the farm . See : The Simple House Project
It made us substantiate how many things we really do n’t ask . Like a dining way or a living room that we seldom , if ever , used . Or additional bedrooms , bathroom and a full basement for that subject .

In a nutshell , it turned out it was only excess quad to stash away extra stuff . All of which cluttered our life and home .
Now back to that ultimate ego - sufficient flyspeck menage affair …

Most importantly , downsizing and living simple allows us more fourth dimension and resource now to chase and live our bucket leaning of dream . And at the very top of that list is move .
travel is one of our most right-down favourite things to do . Whether journey to speak to system or chemical group about gardening or round-eyed livelihood , or simply chit-chat some new place and experiencing all it has to offer – we always jump at the chance to jaunt !
In fact , anyone who knows us recognise that our ultimate ambition has always been to someday go the land , body politic by commonwealth , for one entire and uninterrupted year .

Now that dream of course will have to wait for a while – but we have receive a way to locomote in the meantime that aligns perfectly with our lifestyle and finish . And it just might do work for that bucket list trip someday too !
One Incredible Little Self-Sufficient Tiny Home – The TAB 400 Teardrop Camper.

I do n’t think we could be more aroused ! We have teamed up with unbelievable common people at NuCamp to create our own little self - sufficient tiny abode called the NuCamp TAB 400.See : NuCamp RV
NuCamp is an innovative drone , camping bus and rv manufacturer based out of Sugarcreek , Ohio . Yep , you hazard it , the same incredible lilliputian town where Weaver Barns , who helped build our Simple House is located .
And just like Weaver Barns , NuCamp has been but awe-inspiring to work with on this project .
In a lot of ways , our TAB 400 tear motor home reminds us of our Simple House . It is amazing how many features are built into this tiny home - on - cycle . It is small and compact , and yet bring home the bacon comfortable simple living at its near .
For starter , it is solar - powered , with a curved solar panel attach to the ceiling . It comes complete with a icebox , stove , shower , toilet , and dissipation and water storage tanks . It even has a full - sized Queen bed with an incredible buffer sleep system underneath . There is also front sit area for dining , working or simply rest .

And then there is the heat and chilling . Just like our Simple House , the TAB 400 uses a radiant storey warming system to keep the camper strong on cold days . And yes , it even has atmosphere conditioning for those hot days as well .

Best of all , it will now help oneself us travel everywhere for a fraction of the price . Forget about the laughable cost of hotels , eating out , or of gas - guzzling large RV ’s . We can jaunt , make dinner , sleep – and simply enjoy where we are !
I think the best part for us is that when we are n’t take it out on weekend excursions to see the company , it will make a fairly cool client house at the farm ! After all – it ’s totally self - sufficient .
One affair is for sure – we can not hold back to stress it out ! We are schedule to have our nail trailer sometime at the end of this month . We will be sure to portion out exposure and a video tour of duty of the trailer as soon as it get in .
Hopefully , that stand for we can take it out for a weekend trip or two ( or three or four ) before winter sets in . It will even come complete with an exterior Old World Garden Farms themed wrapping .
Who experience , maybe that dream of trip to all 50 states is induce a piddling closelipped ! But in the meantime , if you encounter to see head down the route in our little teardrop camper – ensure you give us a wave !
