It never quit to amaze me the beautiful colors that nature can paint throughout the seasons . Just a few brusk weeks ago , the sky were meet with dark glasses of grey and the farm was nearly underwater with heavy Cupid’s itch of everyday rainfall . And now – with a few weeks of Sunday and warmth – the plants and scenery are now bursting with people of colour .
We are in full harvest mode at the farm . The tomato and peppers have been ripen in full force – and the farm has come alive in the bright , beautiful colors that only Summer can provide .
With that enunciate – here is a trip around the farm in pictures from the first day of August !

Our Black Pearl ornamental peppers are now in full bloom as well. I love the deep and dark foliage of the plant – especially when the peppers begin to turn to a fiery red late in the season

The simplicity and beauty of a coneflower .
Cucumbers go unfounded … Never underrate the power of compost . These Cucumis sativus plants that are planted in front of the compost bin have completely filled the bed infinite
Although are tree are only a few years old – they are starting to give us a few apples – like this Arkansas Black apple .

The barn patio – still one of our favorite places to sit and enjoy the views of the farm

Our second planting of Baby Buttercrunch loot is keeping fresh salad on the table
