It is a day we have dreamed of since first start our little farm some 6 + year ago , hosting a farm to mesa dinner party , smell in the middle of our 3 acre homestead ! Even well , it will give us an unbelievable luck to share it with some of the most awful people in the world – you ! And it will all take place this year on Saturday , September 2nd , 2017 .

There is simply something so limited about enjoying a homemade meal outside under the open sky . And nothing could make it good than sharing it on a recent summer evening this year with 44 of our followers . Quite honestly , that is what will make it so special .

Many of you have been with us from the very start . Sharing every footfall of the way as we create a little space on 3 Akko to call our own . As dotty as it sounds , without the web log , we both understand we would have never been able to fulfil our dreaming . authorship , sharing and make our hebdomadary story actuate us more than you will ever do it .

For as long as we can commemorate , hosting a farm to table dinner party at our OWG farm has made our one-year goal list . Every year , it always seemed to take a back seat to so many other goal that take precedence . This year , the fourth dimension has fall to cross the farm to mesa dinner off our list . And – we want to share it with some of you who have made it all possible .
The barn will serve as a backdrop for the dinner
So with the farm as a backdrop , we will create a undivided prospicient quarrel of tables and chairs outside for an unbelievable sept style farm to table dinner , filled with farm bracing foods . The menu will let in as many item grown at our farm as possible .
appetizer made from freshly harvested tomato , peppers and more . Homemade soup from the garden , slowly fudge all day in a giant tympani over the fire pit . A salad harvested straight from the garden and basket of homemade bread and more .
For those items we ca n’t provide , we will sate out the computer menu with locally grown option . Local wine , tall mallow , and a pick of locally raise poulet , steak and a vegetarian option will all be have . Hopefully , there will be something for everyone who can connect us .
The evening will begin at 5 pm with appetizers , and tours of the sign , garden and farm for those who like to have a look around . We will then all sit down to enjoy the farm dinner party around 6 pm .
For those who wish to stay a little after dinner to mingle , we will have the fire pit vagabond with a nice flack and plenty of chairs . And who knows , if complete – our pizza oven might even have to get fire up for a late evening snack !
Selecting Guests For The Farm To Table Dinner – The Hardest Part of All!
Although we like we could fill the arena with as many tables for all who require to be a part of the dinner , we recognise that it simply is n’t potential . So , to be fair , we have decided to do a dewy-eyed lottery drawing to find fault 40 guests for the evening ’s dinner . There is no price at all for the dinner for those pick out to attend .
The lottery drawing will work as comply . you may enter the draft as a mates , individual , or individual with a guest . All attendees must be over the historic period of 21 .
We will draw all names at random on Saturday , August 5th , and notify achiever via email by the next day . We will also take an additional 20 name as alternates if for any reason the selected guests can not attend .

In addition to the lottery , we will be selecting 4 more Edgar Guest from the first appearance for those who would be come from the farthermost location away .
