Dull landscaping gets a make-over
Sonya Peel direct in some before and after shots of big change she is work in the landscape gardening of her new home … looks off to a slap-up start ! I hope she ’ll partake image with us again as this garden continues to develop and mature . She writes :
June , 2016Bill and I moved to a new - for - us place in northeast Georgia . For almost a year , we lived with a 17 class old front yard that consist of a jolly steep sloped Bermuda lawn and overgrown , ill pruned plantings that obscured over half of the front of the house . It is obvious the previous possessor were not into plants ; they go to a maintained condominium community .
Spring 2017we hired a landscape company to murder all exist plants and to add a mates of terrace to ease the front slope . From March to November I have planted over 200 shrubs , small tree , coniferous tree and a few perennials in the upper terraced sphere as the beginning of a unexampled / unlike landscape . Because the brick is an odd nicety of orange red , I have mainly stuck to white flowering shrubs close to the theatre , but have infix other colors ( blues , purples , deep corals ) as you begin to move aside . These are before and after pics of some of the changes . Tons more to be do , but it is a scratch . Thanks to all of you for your inspirational gardens and ideas .
