One of my favourite comfort meal is a bowl of tomato basil soup , specially when paired with a thick and gooey grilled high mallow sandwich .

Take it one gradation further and there is n’t anything better than tasting your own homemade tomato basil soup made with fresh tomato plant and basil from your backyard garden .

You may not be thinking about eating a red-hot bowl of soup decently now , but with a little bit of homework while your tomato plant are good on the vine , you may enjoy a taste of summer all year - long .
We make large quantity of soup while the garden is still in time of year and freeze it for later employment .

Creamy Tomato Basil Soup
20 intermediate - turgid tomato plant * see note to employ can tomatoes
1 Tbsp crush ail
2 cups chicken / vegetable stock

2 Tbsp shekels
⅓ loving cup butter
1 cup grueling cream

shut the lid and localise on Soup mode and reduce the cooking time to 20 transactions .

When the time is up , quick unloosen the press . Use animmersion blenderto smoothen the soup to the desired consistency .

Slowly pour in the punishing cream while stirring continuously . Mix well until it has a reproducible , creamy appearance .
