Last weekend I participate in theGarden Blogger ’s Fling , which was hosted in San Francisco this year ( next class it will be keep back in Portland , OR ) . Events like this are not only fun , they are a great elbow room to take on fellow garden blogger and to do merriment hooey with them – here are some mental image from my stumble to the Bay arena and from the event last week .
I was already in township for Design Week and the HOWlive conference , so I why not attend this outcome too , what timing ! Garden Blogger ’s Flings are one-year events hosted in various metropolis each yr , targeting garden bloggers , and I felt that I should attend as I was funny about what a ‘ fling ’ really was . Of of course , I have intercourse that I would be capable to meet some of my fellow garden bloggers who were also attend ( I am pretty out - of - touch with most other garden blogger , focusing more on my garden and undertaking in my little extra time ! ) . In the end , I only attended one sidereal day as I had to fell out so I overlook many of the gardens on the tours , but all thing considered , the event was inspiring , and the gardens I did see only made me require to grow more plants , which is never a bad affair , right ? You Northern California folks are really spoiled , since most of the plants I saw in gardens live in my greenhouse in the wintertime ! I left with a loooong wish list .
Although the Fling was n’t on the button what expected it to be ( with talking to about plant , culture and ideas / tips for blogger ) , it was fun and a great way to foregather my peers . Overall the outcome was marvellously direct and balanced out garden hitch to some of the amazing Bay area garden and some of the finest glasshouse in the country . I only advert the first day , so maybe the other days were even well , but I could see from the agenda that all three Clarence Day were press - packed with all kind of activity .

Here are a few exposure .
